Mitch, a seasoned peak performance and human behaviorist, brings over 35 years of hands-on experience across diverse industries such as Academia, Military, Public Safety, Government, Pharma, and Technology.

He is the mastermind behind “MAGNUS OVEA,” a general theory of human behaviors through 11 Rings for enhancing interoperability and interconnectivity.  He co-founded MAGNUSWorx in collaboration with Jeff Kingsfield. He is also the founder and the driving force behind the National Command & Staff College, the Institute for Credible Leadership Development, and the Criminal Justice Commission for Credible Leadership Development. As a true entrepreneur, he is also the co-founder of Epochal Technologies, Inc. and Power of Awareness.

Mitch’s expertise is underscored by his training at the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) and the US Army Special Operations Command (USASOC). His exceptional contributions have earned him distinctions, including honorary membership in the United States Army Special Operations Command in 1999, honorary Sheriff by the National Sheriffs’ Association in 2016, honorary Police Commander by the Santa Fe ISD Police Department in 2019, and an honorary Life-Time member of the Indiana Sheriff’s Association in 2023. Furthermore, he was honored with the “Spirit Award” from the National Tactical Officers’ Association in 2019, recognizing his life-saving work.

Previously a tenured Professor at NC State University for 16 years, Mitch opted for early retirement but remains committed to academia as an unpaid Adjunct Professor at NC State and Illinois State Universities. Notably, he is a distinguished “Academy of Outstanding Teachers and Scholars” member at NC State University and a 2004 Alumni Awardee of the University of Oklahoma.  Mitch’s influence extends globally with over 10,000 conference presentations and speaking engagements for esteemed Fortune 500 companies, Government entities, and Law Enforcement Association including the NATO, US Secret Service, US Joint Special Operations Command, FBI National Academy, FBI NAA (National & Chapters), HIDTA, HAPCOA, NTOA, California Police Chiefs Associations, National Sheriffs Association (NSA), Women Leadership in Law Enforcement (WLLE), California Association of Tactical Officers (CATO), and numerous others.

His most recent co-authored article on Officers’ wellness was published in the Police Chief Magazine.  In addition, two of his coauthored papers have been published by the FBI Law Enforcement Bulletin ~ “Human Factors: Police Leaders Improving Safety While Developing Meaningful Public Trust” and “Unbundling Beliefs and Values.”  His select books include “GREAT to MAGNUS,” “The Book of 10 Rings,” “Deliberate Leadership: Achieving Success Through Personal Styles,” “Handbook of Research on Effective Communication, Leadership, and Conflict Resolution,” and “Moral Compass for the Law Enforcement Professionals.”

Dr. Javidi was the recipient of the prestigious “Person of the Year” award by the National Society of Accountants ~ Senator William Victor “Bill” Roth, Jr. “Roth IRA” received the award in the following year.
